We’re pleased to announce that Stop Abuse (Powered by Spectrum Puppets) has been selected by 13News Now and the TEGNA Foundation as a local 2018 TEGNA Foundation Grant Recipient for Hampton Roads.
Nine nonprofit organizations in the Hampton Roads region were awarded $34,000 in community grants. Those grants will help in addressing pressing needs. They support assisting victims of human trafficking, discrimination, and sexual abuse, mentorship and education opportunities for children, and work to ensure the welfare of animals.
“These grants will make an impact by providing support for these nonprofit groups in Hampton Roads,” said Dave Lougee, President and CEO, TEGNA. “We are proud to partner with these exceptional organizations and, alongside 13News Now (WVEC), look forward to working with them to serve the greater good of Hampton Roads.”
